As the founder of Old School Barbers, Val has developed his own approach to cutting hair through years of experience, creativity and attention to detail.

Val looks at the complete picture before creating a haircut — your facial features and proportions, head shape, hair texture, density, natural movement and growth patterns, together with your personal style, profession and lifestyle.

Rather than simply copying a haircut from a photograph, Val looks at what you like about the style and adapts it to your own hair, features and individuality. The aim is to create a balanced haircut that looks right on you and works with the way you live and style your hair.

CUSTOM HAIRCUT — £55

For adults or children who have multiple specific haircut requests or require additional consultation, time and attention throughout their appointment.

This service allows additional time for detailed discussion, adjustments and a more personalised approach to achieve the desired result.
